Explanation of heating operation
Itmaytakelongertoreachthesettemperaturefor
generalheatingoperationthanforcoolingoperation.
Thefollowingoperationisperformedinorderto
preventtheheatingcapacityfromdroppingorcold
airfromblowing.
Defrost operation
• Inheatingoperation,freezingoftheoutdoor
unit’saircooledcoilincreasesovertime,
restrictingtheenergytransfertotheoutdoor
unit’scoil.Heatingcapabilitydecreasesandthe
systemneedstogointodefrostoperationtobe
abletodeliverenoughheattotheindoorunits:
• Whenanoutdoorunitisoperatingdefrost,
theindoorunitwillstopfanoperation,the
refrigerantcyclewillreverseandenergyfrom
insidethebuildingwillbeusedtodefrostthe
outdoorunitcoil.
• Theindoorunitwillindicatedefrostoperationon

Hot start
Inordertopreventcoldairfromblowingoutofan
indoorunitatthestartofheatingoperation,the
indoorfanisautomaticallystopped.Thedisplayof

• Theheatingcapacitydropswhenthe

Donotplaceappliancesthatproduce
openreinplacesexposedtotheairow
fromtheunitorundertheunit.

decrease(minimalroomcooling).
• Themicrocomputerautomaticallydetermines
temperatureandfanspeed
(cannotbesetbytheuserinterface).
• Thesystemdoesnotgointooperationifthe
roomtemperatureislow(<20°C).
