2. Safety Information
To prevent any accident that could harm any individual or cause material damage, read
and follow these Instructions. Incorrect actions or ignoring these instructions may
cause undesired accidents.
Warnings
Connect the equipment to an adequate power supply, otherwise electric shocks or fires
due to electrical overheating may occur.
Do not turn the unit on or off by connecting or disconnecting it from the power source
through the automatic interrupter, as this could cause electrical shocks.
Whenever an anomaly is detected in the equipment or smoke can be seen in the
machine, you must quickly turn off the equipment.
Never let the remote controller get wet, as this could cause short circuits or fires.
Never use sharp or hard objects to handle the machine controls, as this could cause
important damage to the equipment.
Never replace the fuses of the machine with others of greater capacity, as this could
cause fires due to electrical overheating.
It is not good for your health to expose your body to the air current from the machine
for long periods of time.
Do not put your fingers or any other object in the machine's air inlet or outlet grille, as
the fan may cause significant damage.
Do not expose any flammable material (liquid or gas) directly to the machine, as this
could cause an explosion or a fire.
Any repairs or inspections must be performed by qualified personnel.
Once the useful life of the equipment is finished, uninstall them correctly and deliver
them to a recycling chain.
Dumping electrical components in the presence of water may cause oxides which can
filter into the soil and contaminate it. You must not get rid of the equipment through
municipal waste.
Leaks in the refrigerating circuit must be prevented, its presence mixed with air in small
areas can cause concentrations harmful for human beings.
The refrigerating gas is flammable.
After a leak, never turn on the equipment unless it has been repaired by qualified
personnel.
Precautions
Do not use the air conditioner for purposes other than heating or cooling a room. Do
not use the equipment to cool High Precision Instruments, foods, animals, plants or
works of art.
To clean the equipment, make sure to turn off the equipment first.
To prevent short circuits or fires, ensure appropriate contact to the grounding line of
your installation.
Never install the ground contact to any conducting element of the Installation, such as
the connecting refrigerating pipe.
Do not remove the fan security grille, as easy access to its parts or pieces can cause
significant harm.
Do not touch the equipment with wet hands, this can cause electrical shocks.
Do not place any object below the equipment which is susceptible to breaking when
wet, as the condenser shelf or the filter can become obstructed and cause water drops.
