8.4 Advice for optimal functioning
Adjust the direction of the air output so that it does not directly hit people. Adjust the
assigned temperature to achieve the greatest comfort possible.
Close doors and windows while the unit is in heat or cool modes.
Use the TIMER ON button of the remote controller to establish the moment you wish to
start.
Do not block the air inlet or outlet with any object.
Clean the filters regularly as indicated in this
manual.
9. Cleaning
9.1 Cleaning the air filter
The machine’s air filter prevents the supply of
dirt and other particles that may be in the
ambient air.
If the filter becomes dirty, the passage of air is
made more difficult and the machine
performance is minimized, as such the filter
must be cleaned every 2 weeks of use. If the
air conditioning equipment is installed in a
place with a very dirty environment, the filter
must be cleaned with greater frequency.
If the filter has been damaged by a particle or
has been obstructed by dirt that cannot be
cleaned, it must be exchanged for a new filter.
Procedure
-Open the front cover of the indoor unit and
raise it until you hear the clicking sound.
-Choose one of the two filters from the inside
part and gently move it upward. Next, when
removing it from the interior casing, pull on it
to remove from the equipment.
-Proceed in the same form with the remaining
filter.
Once the filter is extracted, it can be cleaned
using a vacuum or with water.
-Leave the filter to dry before placing it again.
-Insert the filter following the inverse of the
steps for its extraction.
