New HDDs must be tested and released for installation by Dallmeier
(HDD Whitelist available at www.dallmeier.com).
New HDDs must not be formatted or partitioned.
Recommended Procedure In The Case Of Service
In the case of a hard disk failure the recording is continued.

Identify the defective hard disk drive, as described above.
➡
Shut down the device.
➡
Disconnect the device from the power supply.
➡
Replace the defective hard disk drive (see below).
The capacity of a new HDD may not dier from the exchanged HDD.
➡
Connect the device to the power supply.
➡
Note the messages displayed during the boot process.
After the reboot procedure, the tracks must be initialized.
NOTICE
Data loss!
During the initialization of the tracks all recordings are deleted.
➡
Log on to the conguration interface as described above.
➡
Open the hard disk Management dialog via Setup > Recording >
HDD Management.
