■ Additional display readings
If a VLT is equipped with a PROFIBUS interface, it
can display the following readings in addition to the
messages described in the VLT 5000/5000 Flux/
6000 HVAC/8000 AQUA product manual:
Warnings
WARN. 34
PROFIBUS COMM. FAULT
– There is no connection to the master. The reason
could be that the master has stopped (or is in
an error status), or that the PROFIBUS connec-
tion to the VLT is interrupted.
– There is an SPM overflow in the FIFO buffer for
spontaneous messages.
(see ”Example of a spontaneous message”)
When parameters 927 and 928 are deacti-
vated, the ”Warning 34” in the display of the
VLT will also be suppressed.
Alarm conditions
ALARM
PROFIBUS OPT. FAULT
– The option card has been destroyed by electri-
cal interference, or the option card is defective
and needs to be replaced.
