What to do if Danfoss Icon communication is lost to room thermostat?
    • V
      vcampbellAug 19, 2025
If you've lost communication between your Danfoss Icon Controller and a room thermostat, there are a few things you can try. First, identify the affected thermostat by observing the flashing outputs on the Danfoss Icon Master Controller. Alternatively, check the thermostats themselves. Wake up the thermostat and press it. A failing thermostat will display 'NET ERR'. If the problem persists, consider adding a repeater to improve wireless communication. You may also need to replace the batteries in the room thermostat and perform a network test by activating NET TEST in menu ME.3 on the room thermostat.

Why does Danfoss Icon say a specific actuator output is unavailable?
    • J
      Jasmine HendersonSep 9, 2025
If a specific actuator output is required but unavailable, it's because the output has already been assigned to a room thermostat, or an actuator has not yet been fitted. To resolve this, uninstall the RT from TWA, ensuring it is available to the chosen application (or fit the actuator if this hasn't been done).
