Setting up the x4
• EnsurethepowersupplyfortheDVIsourceisdisconnected.
• ConnectthecablefromtheDVIsourcetotheinputsocketontherearofthex4.
• Connectthefourdisplaystotheoutputsocketsontherearpanelofthex4.
• Connectthex4-PSUtothex4andswitchonthepowersupplyatthemainssocketusingthecorrect
internationalblade(seepage9).
• PoweruptheDVIsource.
ThePowerLEDlocatedonthefrontpanelwillilluminatetoindicatethatpowerhassuccessfullybeen
appliedtotheunit.
Thex4incorporatesaninternalprocessorthatwillcontinuouslymonitorthereceivedDVIsignal,and
wheneveravalidandstableinputisdetectedtheInputLEDisilluminated.
IftheInputLEDisnotilluminated,thex4cannotdetectavalidDVIinputsource.
Duringoperation,thex4isabletoadjustitsinternaloperationtomaintaintheprogrammedoutputpro-
portionsevenwhentheinputresolutionchanges.
