4.7 NON-ADJUSTABLE SETTINGS
Please note that the following settings are pre-programmed into COSMIQ

at any time:
• Multi-Gas: COSMIQ

does not offer a multi-gas function. COSMIQ

only supports calculations
for Standard Air (21% oxygen) or Nitrox (up to 40% oxygen). If you are planning a multi-gas dive,
DO NOT use COSMIQ

as your primary device.
WARNING: DO NOT ATTEMPT MULTI-GAS DIVING WITH COSMIQ

the capability to support calculations for multi-gas diving and therefore should only be used for
Standard Air or Nitrox dives.
WARNING: ONLY DIVERS WHO HAVE UNDERGONE SPECIALIZED TRAINING FROM AN
ACCREDITED AGENCY SHOULD ATTEMPT MULTI-GAS DIVING. Diving with two or more gases
poses different risks than those of diving with a single gas mixture. To understand and avoid these
risks, divers should undergo proper training from an internationally recognized agency. Failure to do
so can result in errors that can lead to serious injury or death.
