SECTION 1 – INTRODUCTION
The instructions contained in this Product Manual are consistent with the features and
functions available with COSMIQ
+
Firmware Version 1.1. If your COSMIQ
+
is running an
older version than Firmware Version 1.1, please sync your COSMIQ
+
with the Deepblu app
and install the rmware update as soon as possible. You must be running Deepblu app v 2.0
or higher to install this rmware upgrade.
The rmware version currently installed on COSMIQ
+
is indicated in the bottom right hand corner
of the display screen when COSMIQ
+
is in Sync Mode .
To update COSMIQ
+
’s rmware:
• Ensure that you have the latest version of the Deepblu app installed on your smartphone.
• Enable Blue-tooth on your phone.
• Log in to your personal Deepblu account on the Deepblu app.
• Pair COSMIQ
+
with the Deepblu app.
• Access the COSMIQ
+
Settings page in the COSMIQ
+
Options menu. Go to COSMIQ
+
Firmware and press Update. When you’re ready, press Ready to Update. The update process
should take 7 to 8 minutes.

1.4 FIRMWARE UPDATE HISTORY
Please see the table below for details about each rmware update currently released to date, as well
as the major functions and features which were improved or modied.

up to 15 minutes by decreasing brightness when the battery level
shows empty
• Improved power management decreases COSMIQ startup time after
battery dies while diving

safety stop time
