      Your Defiant Flood Light might stay on continuously because the motion sensor is picking up a heat source like an air vent or heat-reflective surface. Try decreasing the “SENS” setting or repositioning the motion sensor. It could also be in manual mode; switch it to auto or wait until sunrise. Also, ensure the light isn't wired through a dimmer or timer; if it is, replace it with a standard switch. Finally, check if the light is on the same circuit as a motor, transformer, or fluorescent bulb, and if so, install it on a separate circuit.
