Why is my Deka Battery Pack overheating during charge?
- SStephanie GarciaJul 30, 2025
If your Deka Battery Pack overheats during charge, it could be due to several reasons. The charger equipment might be malfunctioning, in which case you should repair or replace it. The charge controller or inverter voltage settings might be out of specification, so adjust the voltage settings according to the battery manufacturer's recommendations. A defective or weak cell could also be the cause, requiring you to replace the problem battery. Check for hot wires, cells, intercell connections, and charging cables, repairing or replacing any defective components if there's a high resistance connection within the battery. Finally, low electrolyte level can cause overheating, so add water to moss cover when the battery is in a discharged state.
