5.3 Frequent Questions
The collected volume is wrong.
a) Check the tubing is enough long between the clamp and the tray (no traction while
moving).
b) Check no improper items are lay down on the tray.
c) Remember the shown volume is the net weight of the collected blood.
d) When you weight the bag for centrifugation remember the relation between
volume and weight is not 1: 1. 1 ml of blood is equal to 1.05 g.
Clamp doesn’t close.
a) Check the tubing if properly in place inside the clamp and press the CLAMP key to
move the clamp and see if it works fine.
