controls the functioning of the electromechanical system each time the unit is
switched on. In cases it finds an error during the start up procedure not solvable by the
software, on the display will appear an error code as listed here below.
5.1 Errors List
E-1 Means a problem of the motor or of the position sensor.
E-2 Detected a too high initial mass (over 700 – 800 g).
E-3 Detected a wrong linearization coefficient on load cell.
E-4 Over range weigh (over 999 ml) in PAUSE mode.
E-5 Over range (over 2000 g) during any blood collection.
5.2 Possible Solutions
E-1 It may happens the electronics during the initialization run some error. In this case
before call for Service Assistance please try to switch off the unit, wait few seconds
and with the tray installed and empty switch on again. If same error appears again,
please get in touch with closest to you Delcon Technical Service.
E-2 Try a new software calibration as follow: with machine OFF press MODE key and
hold, then press the ON key. If the mixer begins a normal start up procedure do a
calibration as shown on paragraph 7.2. At the contrary, if the problem cannot be
solved and E-2 appear again, please get in touch with closest to you Delcon
Technical Service.
For all the others error codes, the Operator can only check that on the mixer there are not
any excessive masses, that the tray and its support pins do not touch the chassis while moving
and repeat a calibration procedure (see Section 6). If these simple operations cannot solve the
problem, is necessary to contact the closest to you Delcon Service Center.
In some cases, may be useful to reset the system loading again the original default values
(manufacturer set). To do that follow this procedure: with machine OFF press contemporary and
hold the arrows key (UP and DOWN) and the press ON for few seconds. With this procedure
you load the original setting of the manufacturer that are:
- volume 450 ml.
- High flow alarm level 120 ml/min
- Low flow alarm level 20 ml/min.
- Donation time – out 0 (disabled, non time control).
- Sample mass for calibration 500 g.
