To check or change the time out value please do as follow:
- Press MODE and with arrows keys move to P4.
- Press START/ENTER.
- Check if the value shown is the one you want (in minutes). If it’s already correct press
STOP/PAUSE otherwise change it with the arrows key and the press START/ENTER to
confirm.
- Press STOP/PAUSE to quit program mode.
4.8 End of Collection
Hemotek 2 close automatically the clamp at the end of the donation. To improve the weighing
precision, 20 –25 ml before reach the target volume the agitation stop and the reading become
instantaneous. Once the desired volume is reached the clamp is automatically closed pinching
the tube and the alarm of end of donation is activate. During this phase the display will show
alternatively the final volume and the donation time in minutes and tens of seconds.
WARNING!
At the end of the donation the clamp remains closed for obvious safety reasons:
NEVER TRY TO PULL OUT THE TUBE
WITH THE CLAMP CLOSED.
If you wish to mute the alarm you can press STOP, do your normal procedure (like fill the
test tubes) and after having crimped or tied the tube you can press CLAMP key to rescue
the tube and the bag.
Hemotek 2 is now ready for any further donation.
