Procedure to move the solid-state drive holder
About this task
NOTE: This computer supports only one M.2 slot for either an M.2 2230 solid-state drive or an M.2 2280 solid-state drive.
If you are replacing the solid-state drive of a different form factor other than the one removed, see the following procedure to
move the location of the solid-state drive holder.
Steps
1. Remove the solid-state drive holder from the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
2. Turn the solid-state drive holder by 180 degrees.
3. Insert the solid-state drive holder into the other solid-state drive holder slot on the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
4. To install an M.2 2230 solid-state drive, see installing M.2 2230 solid-state drive.
5. To install an M.2 2280 solid-state drive, see installing M.2 2280 solid-state drive.
