8 Disconnect the speaker cable and the power-adapter port cable from the
system board.

3 keyboard cable 4 hard-drive cable
5 touch-pad cable 6 latch
7 speaker cable 8 power-adapter port cable
9 Remove the screw that secures the system board to the palm rest and
keyboard assembly.
