Replacing the palm rest and
keyboard assembly

Procedure
Place the palm rest and keyboard assembly on a flat surface with the
keyboard facing down.
Post-requisites
1 Replace the system board.
2 Replace the power-adapter port.
3 Replace the display assembly.
4 Replace the touch pad.
5 Replace the speakers.
6 Replace the I/O board.
7 Follow the procedure from step 4 to step 8 in “Replacing the hard drive”.
8 Replace the battery.
9 Replace the base cover.
