Replacing the Display
Assembly
WARNING: Before working inside your computer, read the safety

computer, follow the instructions in After Working Inside Your

Procedure
1 Align the screw holes on the display hinges with the screw holes on the
computer base.
2 Replace the screws that secure the display hinges to the computer base.
3 Route the display cable through the routing guides on the computer
base.
4 Connect the display cable to the system board and adhere the tape to
the display cable.
5 Route the antenna cables through the routing guides on the computer
base.
6 Connect the antenna cables to the wireless card. See "Replacing the
Wireless Card".
7 Close the display and turn the computer over.
8 Replace the screws that secure the display hinges to the computer base.
9 Turn the computer over and open the display as far as possible.
Post-requisites
1 Replace the palm rest.
2 Replace the keyboard.
3 Replace the optical-drive filler.
4 Replace the base cover.
5 Replace the battery.
