6. Close the battery bay latch by pushing it back into the computer until it is flush
with the computer casing.

You can connect an external keyboard or keypad with a standard connector to the
PS/2 connector on the computer by using an adapter available from Dell (see
Figure 5-5).

Turn off the computer before connecting or disconnecting a keyboard.
NOTE: You can use the built-in keyboard when an external keyboard is attached to the
computer.
