3. Connect the AC adapter to the replicator, and plug the AC power cable into an
electrical outlet.
4. Place the computer on the replicator platform, with the back of the computer fac-
ing the replicator's docking connector.
Make sure that the grooves on the bottom of the computer align properly with
the platform rails.
5. Position your fingers on the platform grips, and use your thumbs to push the
computer forward until the docking connectors are fully engaged.

To detach the computer from the replicator, follow these steps:
1. Make sure that there is a charged battery in the computer.
2. Turn off the computer.
3. Pull the release handles on the side of the replicator to undock the computer (see
Figure 5-11).
