Prerequisites
Remove the base cover.
Procedure
1 Remove the I/O cable from the routing guides on the fan.
2 Disconnect the fan cable from the system board.
3 Remove the two screws (M2x3) that secure the fan to the palm-rest assembly.
4 Lift the fan o the palm-rest assembly.
