Removing the 4-cell battery
Prerequisites
1. Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the microSD card.
3. Remove the base cover.
NOTE: If the battery is disconnected from system board, there is delay during computer boot as the computer undergoes
RTC reset.

Steps
1. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board.
2. Loosen the four captive screws that secure the battery to the computer.
3. Lift the battery and remove the battery from the computer.
