Prerequisites

NOTE: Ensure that your computer is in Service Mode. For more information, see step 6 in before working inside your
computer.
2. Remove the Nano-SIM card tray.
3. Remove the base cover.

NOTE: To remove the heat sink shielding cover, pry it open from the recess at its upper right corner.
Steps
1. Loosen the three captive screws that secure the heat sink to the system board.
2. Lift the heat sink off the system board.
