Removing the Display Inverter
1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer.
2. Remove the battery from the computer.
3. Remove the access panel from the computer.
4. Remove the hinge cover from the computer.
5. Remove the keyboard from the computer.
6. Remove the display assembly from the computer.
7. Remove the display bezel from the display assembly.
8. Remove the system board from the computer.
9. Remove the screw that secures the LCD inverter to the display assembly.
10. Flip over the display inverter so that you can access the power cable connector.
11. Disconnect the display inverter power cable.
12. Disconnect the display inverter data cable.
13. Remove the display inverter from the display assembly.

