Removing the Optical Drive
1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer.
2. Remove the battery from the computer.
3. Remove the optical drive retention screw from the computer.
4. Insert a plastic screwdriver into the retention screw slot, and carefully disengage and remove the optical drive from the computer.
