3. Remove the screws at the back of the computer and disconnect:
a) power-connector cable [1] and [2]
b) media-buttons cable [1] and [2]
c) touch-pad cable [1] and [2]
d) fingerprint-scanner cable [1] and [2]
4. Perform the following steps:
a) Remove the screws that secure the palmrest of the computer.
b) Lift and remove the palmrest from the computer.
Installing the Palmrest
1. Align the palmrest assembly to its original position in the computer and snap it into place.
2. Connect the following cables to the system board:
a) power-button cable
b) fingerprint-scanner cable
c) touch-pad cable
d) media button cable
3. Tighten the screws to secure the palmrest at the front and back of the computer.
