Dell P138G - Installing the 3-Cell Battery

Steps
1. Disconnect the battery cable from its connector on the system board.
2. Loosen the three captive screws that secure the battery to the palm-rest assembly.
3. Lift the battery off the palm-rest assembly.
4. Slide and remove the 3-cell battery filler from the battery.

If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.
