Steps
1. Peel the tape securing the right-speaker cable to the chassis.
2. Remove the two (M1.6x1.8) screws that secure the right-speaker in place.
3. Disconnect the right-speaker cable from connector (SPKL) on the system board.
4. Lift the right-speaker off the palm-rest assembly.
Installing the right speaker
CAUTION: The information in this installation section is intended for authorized service technicians only.
Prerequisites
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.
About this task
NOTE:
For systems that are shipped with WWAN antennas, the right-speaker is integrated with the palm-rest assembly
and it is not a separate replaceable part.
NOTE: For systems shipped with the WLAN card, the right-speaker is a separate replaceable part. The following procedure
is applicable only for systems that shipped with the WLAN card.
