Replacing the Top Cover




Removing the Top Cover

1. Follow the procedures in Before You Begin.

2. Remove the computer cover (see Removing the Computer Cover).

3. Remove the front bezel (see Removing the Front Bezel).

4. Remove the optical drive (see Removing the Optical Drive).

5. Pull the release tab, and slide the top cover towards the front of the computer to release the top cover tabs from the slots on the top panel.

6. Pull the top cover away from the top panel.

7. Set the top cover aside in a secure location.
Replacing the Top Cover

1. Follow the procedures in Before You Begin.

