Why isn't my DeLonghi EC9155.YE Coffee Maker grinding enough coffee for a perfect dose?
    • T
      Thomas MoralesAug 15, 2025
If your DeLonghi Coffee Maker isn't dispensing the right amount of ground coffee into the filter after grinding, the quantity of ground coffee may need adjusting with the dial. If the dial is at its maximum, select the second range of grinding adjustment. Ensure you're using the correct filter (one cup or two cup) and that the 2X light is on when using the 2-cup filter. If the issue persists, the burrs may be worn and require replacement by a Customer Service Centre.

Why is no espresso coming out of my DeLonghi EC9155.YE?
    • E
      evansuarezAug 26, 2025
If your DeLonghi Coffee Maker isn't delivering espresso, several factors could be at play. First, ensure the water tank is adequately filled. If the OK light is illuminated, it indicates an empty coffee or steam circuit, requiring you to press the corresponding button to prime it. Check the coffee filter for blockages and rinse it thoroughly under running water. The coffee grind might be too fine, or the dose too high; adjust accordingly. Make sure the water tank is correctly inserted, pressing down to open the valves. Lastly, scale buildup in the water circuit can impede delivery, so descale the appliance.

What to do if espresso drips from the edge of the portafilter on my DeLonghi EC9155.YE Coffee Maker?
    • H
      holmescynthiaAug 28, 2025
If espresso from your DeLonghi Coffee Maker drips from the portafilter edges instead of the holes, it could be due to a few reasons. Ensure the portafilter is correctly and firmly attached. A worn or dirty espresso boiler gasket can also cause this issue, and it should be replaced by Customer Services. Lastly, a clogged coffee filter can redirect the flow; rinse the filters under running water and reduce the grinding thickness.

How to change the type of coffee beans in my DeLonghi EC9155.YE Coffee Maker?
    • F
      fjohnsonAug 31, 2025
To change the type of coffee in your DeLonghi Coffee Maker, first empty the bean container, operating the coffee mill without beans or using a vacuum cleaner to remove any remaining beans. Attach the portafilter and operate the coffee mill a number of times without beans to free the grinder. Attach the portafilter to the outlet of the grinder. Push the portafilter to start grinding: it stops automatically. Repeat until the filter is empty. Then, place the new coffee in the bean container. If the amount of coffee ground isn't enough to reach the perfect dose, set the appliance as for the first use.
