Why is no espresso coffee delivered from my DeLonghi EC9255 Coffee Maker?

  Several factors can cause this issue. Make sure the water tank is filled. If the OK light is on, press the corresponding button to fill the circuit. The coffee filter might be blocked, so rinse it. Also, the coffee grind might be too fine, so adjust the dose and grinding. Ensure the water tank is correctly inserted and the valves are open. Lastly, scale buildup in the water circuit can be the cause, so descale the appliance.

  This can occur for a few reasons. First, ensure the portafilter is correctly attached and rotated firmly. Another reason could be that the coffee filter is clogged. Try rinsing the filters under running water and reduce the grinding thickness. If the espresso boiler gasket has lost elasticity or is dirty, it should be replaced by Customer Services.

Why won't the portafilter (C1) attach to my DeLonghi EC9255?

  This is usually because the ground coffee hasn't been pressed down properly or there's too much coffee. Try grinding again with new settings. Reduce the amount of coffee powder used, and make sure the filter size matches the grinding quantity selector.

What to do if the cold brew from my DeLonghi Coffee Maker is warm?

  If your cold brew is warm, it might be because a hot coffee was delivered before the cold brew. Try running a cold brew for a few seconds to cool the system. Also, make sure the water in the tank is fresh and that you're adding 3-4 ice cubes to your drink.
