Why is no espresso coffee delivered from my DeLonghi EC950 Coffee Maker?

  Several factors can prevent your DeLonghi Coffee Maker from delivering espresso: * The water tank (A2) may be empty, so fill it. * The coffee grounds may be too fine; adjust the quantity and grinding level. * There might be a blockage in the cup filter (A15) or (A16); rinse the filters under running water. * The water tank (A2) may not be correctly positioned, preventing the valves at the bottom from opening; press down lightly to open them. * Limescale may have built up in the water circuit; descale the appliance.

  If, after delivering coffee, the filter remains attached to the coffee spout on your DeLonghi Coffee Maker, insert the filter holder (A14) again, deliver coffee, then remove the filter holder.
