Q How can I read the EME-A22A analogue inputs in the PLC?
A AI1 can be read in D1031 and AI2 can be read in D1032.
Q What does fault code 42“AcL” mean?
A “AcL” means communication error between power board and control board in STOP
mode and “CP10” means communication error between power board and control
board in RUN mode.
Q Why does the display show PLSn error?
A If there’s no PLC program loaded and the drive is accidentally set to PLC1 or PLC2,
the PLSn error is displayed (all PLC error messages are mentioned in the Sensorless
Vector Control Compact Drive VFD-E Series User Manual - Appendix D. To solve this,
please set the PLC mode back to PLC0.
Q Does the option card EME-D33A have PNP outputs?
A No, the outputs are always NPN. The inputs, however, can be set to NPN or PNP.
Q Where can I get the eds file for CME-COP01?
A Download the file VFD-E Drives.eds from our ftp-site in the folder (AMD-Options/AMD
Fieldbus options/CANopen/CME-COP01/EDS for CME-COP01).
Q Pr00-03 setting is different in the summary and description, which one is correct?
A There is a difference in the settings for Pr00-03 in the Summary of Parameter Settings
and in the Description of Parameter Settings. The latter one is correct. It will be
corrected in the next version of the user manual (Sensorless Vecotr Control Compact
Drive VFD-E Series user manual).
Q How to set the range 30-50Hz for the front potentiometer?
A This is not possible. If Pr04-00=100% and Pr04-02=50%, only 25-50Hz can be
achieved because the bias can only be 100%. (With AVI it is possible by setting Pr04-
11 to 04-14).
