If needed the AFM output voltage can be adjusted by Pr03-04.
Q How to use preset speed as PID setpoint?
A The preset speeds can be used as follows as PID setpoint.
Pr05-00=15 Preset speed 1=15Hz
Pr05-01=25 Preset Speed 2=25Hz
Pr05-02=35 Preset Speed 3=35Hz (to have 3 set points)
Pr04-05=1 MI3=Select Preset Speed 1
Pr04-06=2 MI4=Select Preset Speed 2 (to select different setpoints)
Pr10-03=3 (to use AVI2 as setpoint if no preset speeds are selected)
Pr10-01=1 (to use AVI as negative feedback)
If you Run the drive, it will use either AVI2 as setpoint (MI3=Off, MI4=Off) or a preset
speed (MI3=On and/or MI4=On).
Note: Bear in mind that in this case the preset speeds are not speeds or frequencies but PID
setpoints. For example, 15Hz means 15/50=30%, 35Hz means 35/50=70%.
Q Is it possible to use EME D33A with NPN mode and use VFD-E terminal with
PNP mode?
A Yes, it is possible. Bear in mind that the 24V on the control board is the same as the
24V on the option card. Also, both DCM terminals are the same.
