Q On EME-D33A, is it possible to switch between NPN and PNP?
A The inputs can be switched from NPN to PNP by the switch.
The outputs are NPN only with MCM as common.
Q How to read the analogue inputs and outputs of EME-A22A?
A Both inputs and outputs can be read via the following PLC registers (it is not possible
to read them directly via Modbus):
D1031 AI1
D1032 AI2
D1041 AO1
D1042 AO2
Q When writing to 2002hex, BaseBlock is set. Why?
A BaseBlock is set when Bit2 of 2002hex is set to 1.
The definition of 2002hex is:
Bit0 EF on
Bit1 Reset
Bit2 BaseBlock on.
Bit3~Bit15 Unused. When writing, best set to 0.
Q How does line-start lock-out work?
A When Pr02-01=1 or 2 (line-start lock-out only works when operation command is via
terminals), Pr02-05=0 or 2 and Pr08-04=1 or 2 it works as follows:
As long as the display is normal and the power comes back, the drive continues.
As the display shows LV and the power comes back within the time Pr08-05, the
drive runs (with speed search acc. to Pr08-04). In firmware 2.14 the Pr08-05 max
setting range is 20s, previously it was 5s.
As the display shows LV and the power comes back after time Pr08-05, nothing
happens. The drive needs to finish its internal LV process (save parameters etc).
It needs a new RUN command.
When the drive is powered off and "dead", then, with Pr02-05=0 or 2, the drives
