Q Is it possible to use CME-USB01 to connect to WPL and at the same time use
RS-485 port for control of the drive (by an external PLC or even VFDSoft)?
A Yes, they can be used at the same time.
Q After OV fault the drive doesnt restart. Why?
A E.g. Pr08-15=3 and Pr08-16=30.
The auto-reset function ONLY works in RUN status. For example, if the DC-bus
voltage rises during deceleration and the drive trips on OV, the drive automatically
restarts when the DC-bus voltage goes back to its normal level.
But if the drive is stopped, the auto-restart function doesnt not work because the drive
is then in STOP status.
Q How to unlock the keypad when Pr00-02=8?
A Pr00-02=8 locks the keypad.
To unlock it, press and hold the ENTER key for 5 seconds to temporarily unlock the
keypad. Then set Pr00-02=0 to unlock the keypad. You can also set Pr00-02=0 via
VFDSoft.
Q What is the difference between Pr00-04=0 and Pr00-04=16?
A Pr00-04=0: Display shows [Output Frequency * Pr00-05]
Pr00-04=16: Display shows [Frequency Command * Pr00-05]
Q How to restart at power on?
A From one of our customers who wanted a reliable solution to RUN the drive after a
short or long mains power interruption.
DCM to MCM and connect MO1 to MI1. Then set parameter Pr03.01=22 (Drive
Ready). Leave Pr02-05, 08-04 and 08-05 at their default values.
This ensures a new
RUN command every time after power on.
Note: As long as other Delta drive series also have a Drive Readysignal, this method can be
used, even with a Relay output.
