Q How to connect a PT100 temperature sensor?
A Analogue output AFM2 can be set to give 9mA. The voltage drop over the PT100 is
measured via AVI. 2 Levels can be set, at the first level the frequency command can
be changed to avoid further temperature increase and that the second level Alarm
OH3 is generated. The required action can be set.
Please find more in the application note VFD-C PT100.pdf on the ftp-site (Industrial
Automation Products\AMD\VFD-C2000\C2000 Application notes).
Q Write to EEPROM: Yes or no?
A In the C2000, it is possible to disable writing to EEPROM, e.g. when using serial
communication for changing parameters. Set MIx=38 (Pr02-01, etc) and activate the
input. The setting of MIx=38 itself is saved in EEPROM at power off, independent of
the input status.
Q Can C2000 work without keypad?
A Yes, C2000 works normal without keypad, you can remove it. But you have to make
sure the drives frequency command and start/stop command do not come from the
keypad, otherwise it is not possible to run the drive (or, more dangerously, stop it when
it is running). So please make sure, before you remove the keypad, that Pr00-200
and Pr00-21≠0.
