1. Overview
Your DEMA E-bike meets the requirements of European standards EN 15194 and EN 4210-2,
thus falls into category EPAC (Electrically Power Assisted Cycle = „bicycle with auxiliary elec-
tric propulsion“). In terms of the law on road trac, EPAC is considered a standard bicycle and
no driving license is required. Maximum connuous rated engine output for EPAC bicycles is
limited to 250W. Assistance is acvated by pedaling, then engine assistance is disconnued
when cyclist stops pedaling or when the E-bike speed reaches 25 km/h. E-bike can also be
set in moon with the “walk mode” buon to the maximum allowed speed of 6 km/h (only
for assistance when walking). The construcon allows to full deacvaon of engine assistance
and connue to ride as on standard bicycle without any assistance. The electric drive system
guarantees IP54 protecon.
Charging device
Use only the original charging device. The charging device should only be used in a dry locaon
and should not be covered during its operaon. If not followed, charging can lead to a re or
a short circuit. Always disconnect the charging device from the power supply before cleaning.
Maintenance and care
Only a authorized seller may perform maintenance and care operaons on parts that conduct
electricity! Use only factory originals or parts approved by the manufacturer as replacements
on your E-bike. Otherwise, warranty and liability are not accepted. Remove the baeries from
the E-bike before cleaning it. When cleaning the baery, make sure that it does not touch any
conducve surfaces to prevent injury and damage of the baery! Cleaning with high-pressure
water jet can damage the electric equipment and water could get inside due to high pressure,
even to insulated components. Make sure not to damage cables or any other components. In
case of any damage, get your E-bike inspected by your authorized seller. In case of damage of
the E-bike must not be used without a technical inspecon at authorized seller!
Wear and liability
Please bear in mind that the parts of the E-bike are exposed to higher rate wear than those of
a standard bicycle without electric drive. The reason for this is the higher weight and higher
average speed of the E-bike. A higher rate of wear does not constute a defect of the material,
and the warranty does not cover it.

- Cassee
The baery also ages, and is therefore considered as a wearing part. Bear in mind that over
me the baery will lose its capacity. Consider this when planning a trip and take a spare
baery with you, if necessary. You can purchase a spare baery from your authorized seller.
Warning:
Do not change the permanent rated power of 250 W and the maximum speed of 25 km/h of
the E-bike electric drive. This change cancels all warranes for modied E-bike!
1.1. Oli SPORT drive system
Oli SPORT engines oer more power for demanding tracks. Among Oli engines, the SPORT ver-
sion has the strongest tracon and, thanks to a maximum torque of 83 Nm, provides relevant
assistance even at low frequencies.
Cyclocomputer Oli has a slim and elegant design and holds rmly in place thanks to its double-
sided holder. Remote control oers easy access to buons and thus convenient control of the
E-bike system.
