Maintenance Checks
To check the gearbox oil level the
vehicle must be on level ground with
the parking brake applied and at
operating temperature.
With the engine idling and neutral 'N'
gear selected, remove the dipstick and
clean.
Insert the dipstick briefly to prevent a
false reading from oil splash.
The level must be maintained between
the "max" and "min" level.
Visually check to ensure the vehicle is
sitting level.
