GASOLINE LAWN MOWER
EN
Blade Maintenance
After long-term use, particularly in case of sandy soil, the blade wears o and its cutting property degrades.
The mowing eciency decreases, and the blade needs replacing. Use only original blades as recommended
by the manufacturer.
Prior to removing the blade, it's necessary to run out of fuel in the fuel tank, wait until the engine stalls, and
drain oil completely. To replace the blade:
1. Put on safety gloves.
2. Get the lawn mower on its side.
3. While holding the blade via a spanner, disconnect the blade xation bolt, and remove the washer (Fig. 14).

4. Remove the worn blade from its holder.
5. Bolt a new blade, having the bolt padded with the washer. Make sure to properly orient the blade (Fig. 15).

6. Tighten the bolt with torque of 45 to 55 N•m. Check the connection for reliability.
7. After mounting the blade, add fuel and lubricant, then start the engine. Let the device work idle for
a couple of minutes to check the blade is properly mounted. Given high vibration, stop the engine
immediately, and contact an authorized service center.
A worn blade is recommended to be replaced rather than resharpened.
The cutting blade sharpening is a critical operation, and shall only be performed by qualied personnel of an
authorized service center. Unauthorized sharpening of the blade can the cutting tool to bend and unbalance
what increases the risk of injuries while operating the lawn mower.

prohibited to operate the device if its blade is bent, blunt, or cracked.
