GASOLINE LAWN MOWER
EN
The lawn mower is equipped with an air lter to prevent ingress of airborne solid particles into the engine. The
lter needs periodic cleaning. Given heavy contamination, the ltering element shall be replaced.
1. Open the lter cover.
2. Remove the ltering element, and carefully wash it with unleaded petrol. Usage of solvents is prohibited!
3. Dry the ltering element completely.
4. Soak it with a little of oil (any surplus shall be squeezed out without twisting).
5. Put the air lter back in place and install the cover (make sure it is tightly tted to the housing).
Spark plug maintenance
After every 100 running hours of the engine, but at least once a year, check the spark plug as follows:
1. Clean the surface surrounding the spark plug.
2. Disconnect the high-voltage wire.
3. Wrench out the spark plug via the designated spanner belonging to the delivery set. The spark plug
electrodes shall be light-brown in color.
4. Replace the spark plug, if its ceramic isolator is chipped, or if electrodes are corroded, burnt, or fouled.
5. Clean the electrodes with a ne abrasive paper to the bright metal, check and adjust the gap.
6. Check the gap between the grounding and central electrodes by means of a special probe. At necessity,
set the gap to 0.7-0.8 m (Fig. 16).
7. Mount the spark plug back in place, and tighten until it stops. Insucient tightness of the spark plug can
lead to overheating and damage to the engine.
8. Connect the high-voltage wire.
