      Jacob PatelSep 12, 2025
If the door of your Despatch Oven won't stay closed, it's likely due to inadequate latch tension. Ensure the latch strike is contacting the center of the latch. Adjust the mounting angle to center as required. Increase latch tension by turning screws on the end of the latch clockwise. Adjust in even increments on all four screws to keep door pull even.

      Elizabeth LeeSep 15, 2025
If the door of your Despatch Oven closes into only the top or bottom latch, it's likely due to uneven latch tension adjustment. Ensure that the latch strike is contacting the center of the latch. Adjust mounting angle as required. Adjust door for even top and bottom latch tension by turning screws on ends of latch. Clockwise increases tension on latch. Counterclockwise decreases tension.
