Storage
Store the equipment and accessories out of children's reach in a dark and dry place at above
freezing temperature. The ideal storage temperature is between 5 °C and 30 °C.

WARNING: Since accessories, other than those offered by DeWALT, have not been tested
with this product, use of such accessories with this tool could be hazardous. To reduce the
risk of injury, only DeWALT recommended accessories should be used with thisproduct.
Consult your dealer for further information on the appropriateaccessories.
Before use, carefully check the cutting disk cover to determine that it will operate properly.
Ensure that mud, or work-piece particles cannot lead to blockage of one of thefunctions.
In case of workpiece fragments jammed between cutting disc and guard disconnect the
machine from the power supply and follow the instructions given in section Mounting the
cutting disc. Remove the jammed parts and reassembling the cuttingdisc.
Keep the ventilation slots clear and regularly clean the housing with a softcloth.
The following cleaning operations must be performed everyday.
1. Insert the water pump into a bucket of clean water and pump the water through the
hosesystem.
2. Wipe the rails and support arm with a grout sponge or arag.
3. Spray the water basin and the sliding table with clear water. Wipe any dust residue away
with a groutsponge.

Cleaning
WARNING: Blow dirt and dust out of the main housing with dry air as often as dirt is seen
collecting in and around the air vents. Wear approved eye protection and approved dust
mask when performing thisprocedure.
WARNING: Never use solvents or other harsh chemicals for cleaning the non‑metallic
parts of the tool. These chemicals may weaken the materials used in these parts. Use a
cloth dampened only with water and mild soap. Never let any liquid get inside the tool;
never immerse any part of the tool into aliquid.

Lubrication
Your power tool requires no additionallubrication.
Draining the Water Basin (Fig. ###)
The water basin must be drained after eachuse.
1. Place a suitable container under the drain plug

2. Remove the drainplug.
3. Allow ample time for the liquid todrain.
4. After the liquid has been drained, re-install the drainplug.
5. Dispose of the liquid with due care for theenvironment.
MAINTENANCE
Your power tool has been designed to operate over a long period of time with a minimum
of maintenance. Continuous satisfactory operation depends upon proper tool care and
regularcleaning.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of serious personal injury, turn tool off and
disconnect tool from power source before making any adjustments or removing/
installing attachments or accessories. An accidental start‑up can causeinjury.
WARNING: To assure product SAFETY and RELIABILITY, repairs, maintenance and
adjustment should be performed by a DeWALT factory service centre or a DeWALT
authorized service centre. Always use identical replacement parts.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced only by DeWALT or an authorised
serviceorganisation.
Transporting (Fig. O, Z)
The detachable parts can be stored in the water basin for easytransportation.
1. Drain the water basin. SeeMaintenance.
2. Remove the edge guide and the extensiontable.
3. Lock the cutting cart inposition.
4. Remove the watercollectors.
5. Lift the machine out of the water basin asshown.
6. Place the collectors into the water basin in the orientation asshown.
7. Turn the water basin upsidedown.
8. The edge guide and the extension table can be placed in the water basin beforenested.

WARNING: When carrying the machine, always seek assistance. The machine is
too heavy for one person tohandle. Always lock the cutting cart before moving or
transporting saw.
