ELECTRONIC POD MANAGEMENT KEY
(ONLY FOR ELECTRONIC FROG AND ELEC-
TRONIC FROG VAPOR VERSIONS)
WARNING:
in the electronic Frog and electronic Frog Vapor versions, it is important to carefully initial-
ise the machine. For safety reasons, this operation is not repeatable, so care must be taken
to use an “operator” key with the assigned company code. If the “operator” key is inserted
and then turned on with the machine initialised and off, all the dispensings in the memory
are deleted. Once the machine is initialised, each time it is switched on, the orange indica-
tor light flashes as many times as the tens of dispensings are still in the memory.
In this case, the Frog coffee machine pod supplier (i.e. the figure who periodically supplies
the user with the pack of pods) must perform the following operations:
1. with the machine switched off, insert the electronic key supplied in the appropriate
seat provided on the left side of the machine;
2. turn on the machine by pressing switch A (see fig. 5-A);
3. the orange light B (see fig. 5-A) flashes quickly, the machine is initialised with its code
and is waiting for the dispensings to be loaded;
4. with the machine switched on, each “operator” key insertion adds 50 dispensings to
those that may be in the memory;
5. when the last 20 dispensings remain in the memory, the orange indicator light B
remains activated and flashing;
6. once the dispensings in the memory are finished, the pump and the heating element
of the coffee dispenser group are deactivated and the indicator light B remains acti-
vated and flashing;
7. it is the user’s task to contact the pod supplier to update/re-initialise the electronic
counter, by inserting the operator key, simultaneously procuring the pod packs.
