9.5 DCS210+ Option switches
The DCS210+ has a number of useful Option switches (OPSW), and the most
commonly used are below. A comprehensive OPSW listing is on the Digitrax
web site.
To modify an Option switch:
1. Set the MODE switch to center OP position. The PWR and PROG leds
will pulse alternately.
2. Connect a Loconet throttle and select its switch control mode.
3. Select the switch number, as the OPSW number, and then set T/Thrown or
C/closed to modify the OPSW as needed.
4. Return the MODE switch to RUN position when nished.
OPSW#2 =T enables Command Station mode, C= Booster only mode
OPSW#3 = T selects normal booster, C= auto-reversing booster mode
OPSW#40 = C sets Factory defaults when the MODE switch goes to RUN.
9.6 DCS210+ beeps
In operation the DCS210+ provides a number of informational beep sounds.
4 short beeps: Booster shutdown on track Fault
10 long beeps: Second active Command Station detected on LocoNet. To
avoid confusion, track power will be forced OFF.
Additional beeps may issue for other rare events, and are documented on the
Digitrax web site.
10.0 UR93 setup
The UR93/UR93E is added to a LocoNet system as shown in Figure 3 to add
Duplex capability.
When powered by the UR93 PS14 the GREEN ID led will blink occasionally.
If the LocoNet is not sleeping the RED OPS led will be ON and Duplex com-
patible throttles can access LocoNet wirelessly using the matching Channel
number and NetName. Duplex messages incoming and Duplex enabled will
pulse the ID led, and LocoNet messages will pulse the OPS led to indicate
activity.
The UR93 name and channel can be configured by e.g. DT602D as detailed in
section 7.3.6, or the free Digitrax “DigiGroupSetup” app on a PC connected
via USB or other LocoNet connection. The UR93 requires no Option switch
setup.
The UR93’s do not support IR operations, but have extended Duplex range
over the UR92. UR92’s may also be used and mixed into the system.
