Cyclopentane used as a insulation blowing gas. The gases in insulation
material require special disposal procedure. Please contact your local
authorities in regard to the envionmentally safe disposal of this product.
Refrigeration from the late nineties contains a cooling system that uses
HCFC's (Hydrochlorflurocarbons) refrigerant (134a) These gases must be
reclaimed.
If you are throwing away your old refrigerator, make sure the HCFC's
refrigerant is removed for proper disposal by a qualified servicer.
If you intentionally release this HCFC's refrigerant, you can be subject to
fines and imprisonment under provisions of enviromental legislation.
Ensure that none of the pipes on the back of the appliances are damaged
prior to disposal. The pipes shall be broke in an open area.
