Tips for power saving

When installed in a place with a high temperature, the compressor use increases, consuming more electricity.
Electricity consumption varies depending on the ways of using the appliance and the modes selected.
Follow the instructions below for power saving.
Do not open the lid unnecessarily.
Cool air let out of dimchae
, and hot air outside going in
affect the temperature inside the appliance. In turn,
the compressor inside the appliance starts operating to
lower the temperature, consuming electricity.
Cool down hot food before putting it in dimchae
.
Hot food raises the inside temperature of the
appliance, causing increased electricity consumption
to lower the temperature.
Do not open the lid during power failure.
Every time the lid is opened, outside hot air goes
into the appliance.
Power failure for less than two hours may not affect
food in dimchae
.
Do not install the appliance in a place that receives
direct sunshine, is overheated or has other heating
equipment nearby.
The cooling effect of the appliance is reduced, which
causes an increased consumption of electricity.
The temperature of the room appropriate for the
appliance is 20~30℃.

After the appliance is delivered, thoroughly read the
Safety Precautions in the dimchae
manual.
“Safety Precautions” (pages 2~10)
Select a place to install the appliance.
Follow the details in“Safety Precautions”and particularly focus on the floor,
the temperature and the surrounding area.
Make sure to refer to‘Safety Precautions’with regard to power equipment.
A grounded power socket is strongly recommended.
Place in an area that does not receive direct sunshine, or heat from heating
equipment.
● Place in an area that does not get wet.
● Place in an area that is not overheated and does not have sudden changes in
temperature.
● Place in an area with a strong and flat floor.
Place in an area in which the appliance is installed with 4˝space from the
wall.
