Safety Precautions
● DANGER
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or
a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

Please make sure to fasten all locks (4 places)
for carrying kimchi container. You may get
hurt upon failure of securing all locks due to
detaching of cover from container.
Please make sure to hold container with both
hands to carry and you may get hurt upon
carrying due to detaching of cover from
container in case of putting excessive heavy
items such as stone or iron into the container
.
In case of placing container on the lower
container when the handle of lower container is
standing upward, kimchi may be over ripen due
to damage or improper close of door of lower
container by the weight of upper container.
Do not install the appliance in a place that
undergoes sudden changes in temperature in
winter.
● It may freeze kimchi.
Please choose a proper function as to
which foods you want to keep.
Do not keep foods required for different
storage temperature together.
Check the freshness of the foods in
dimchae°although its‘refrigerating’and
‘Chill’are on.
● Food kept in dimchae°can be spoiled if they pass
the expiry date.
Use the kimchi container provided to keep
kimchi in dimchae°
● Kimchi may be frozen if kept directly in dimchae°
Make sure to fill only 70~80% of the kimchi
container with kimchi to prevent its juice from
overflowing, as kimchi ripens.
● As kimchi ripens, it increases its juice and may overflow.
When opening and closing the door, use the
handle only. Make sure that your hands are not
caught in the door.
● This may injure your hand.
Use containers provided separately for meat,
fish and vegetables.
● It prevents food from drying and is more hygienic.
Cool down hot food before putting it in
dimchae°
● Hot food affects kimchi kept in the same shelf,
making kimchi sour.
Please open upper lids as little as possible
while the‘Fermentation’function is on.
● Outside air may change room temperature or degrade
the taste of Kimchi.
● CAUTION?
Watch your hands when opening/closing the lid. If the lid falls down, it may cause injury.
