Test the Emergency Stop
Dingli requires that this procedure be
performed every 250 hours or quarterly,
whichever comes first.
A properly functioning Emergency Stop is
essential for safe machine operation. An
improperly operating red Emergency Stop
button will fail to shut off power and stop all
machine functions, resulting in a hazardous
situation.
As a safety feature, selecting and operating
the ground controls will override the platform
controls, except the platform red Emergency
Stop button.
1 Start the engine from ground controls.
2 Push in the red Emergency Stop button to
the off position.
⊙ Result: The engine should shut off and no
machine functions should operate.
3 Start the engine from platform controls.
4 Push in the red Emergency Stop button to
the off position.
⊙ Result: The engine should shut off and no
machine functions should operate.
Note: The red Emergency Stop button at the
ground or platform controls will stop all
machine operation without regard to the
position of the key switch.
