Status Request When the Engine is Running
When the vehicle doors are locked:
The LED # 1 will flash 3 times to denote that the vehicle’s doors are locked.
When the vehicle doors are unlocked:
The LED # 2 will flash 3 times to denote that the vehicle’s doors are unlocked.
And:
If there is more than 3/4 of
Run time cycle
If there is more than half of
run time cycle
If there is more than 1/4 of
run time cycle
If there is less than 1/4 of
run time cycle

Troubleshooting Poor Transmitting Range
Many factors may affect the operating range of the transmitter. Some of these are:
x The condition of the battery in the transmitter.
x The operating environment (for example: downtown radio-frequency noise, airports, cellular
phone towers…).
x Metal: any type of metal will affect operating range. This includes the metal in the car.
x The shape of the vehicle can affect range as well; vans in general have an especially poor
range.
x The shape of the roof and A-pillars brings about considerable radio-frequency deflection (in
this case the signal from the remote control). As a result, the direction in which the vehicle is
facing in relation to the remote control can affect the range. Straight on – standing in front of
the vehicle – generally gives you the greatest range; the second best performance is from the
back. Using the remote control from either side of the vehicle will usually give the lowest
range.
x The range will be significantly lower in a crowded parking lot than in open space.
x Always hold the transmitter high, approximately at shoulder height. Holding the transmitter
against your chin will also increase your range: your head acts as an antenna.
x The operating range will be somewhat lower on vehicles equipped with an aftermarket or
factory alarm.

Si une intrusion est arrivée à votre véhicule, vous recevrez un code sur l’effraction lorsque vous
appuyez sur la touche
. Le klaxon vous informera du type d’intrusion en envoyant une série de
signaux sonores de façon suivante :

1x = interruption dans la source d’alimentation
4x = Effraction par une Portière
Requête de l’état du véhicule
Cette caractéristique permet à l’utilisateur de connaître le statut du véhicule, c’est-à-dire, si les
portières sont verrouillées ou déverrouillées, si le véhicule est en mode Temps froid, en mode
Valet chez soi, en mode Valet ou combien il reste de temps de marche. Les tableaux qui suivent
expliquent les codes que la télécommande émettra.
Pour connaître l’état du véhicule :
Appuyez sur la touche AUX puis sur la touche . Vous entendrez un timbre sonore. Une DEL de
la télécommande émettra alors une série de clignotements selon l’état du véhicule.
x Si le moteur ne tourne PAS
x Si le véhicule est ou non en mode Prêt à démarrer
x SI le moteur est effectivement en marche suite à la commande à distance (si les
portières sont verrouillées) ou (si les portières sont déverrouillées).
La réponse à votre requête se fait en deux étapes :
x La première série de clignotements indique si le véhicule est verrouillé ou déverrouillé.
x La seconde série indique le mode du véhicule (si applicable) : mode Temps froid, mode Valet
chez soi, mode Valet.
Si le véhicule ne se situe pas dans l’une de ces trois étapes, il n’y aura pas de seconde série de
clignotements.
